Polly Luce, ‘Crisp Autumn Air’ 2024

‘Unencumbered’ by formal art training, Polly studied Art History at the University of St Andrews (2012) and has always painted for pleasure. She tentatively began selling in 2020, attended The Other Art Fair in 2021, and following a successful solo show in 2022, made painting her sole occupation. Polly grew up in East Devon and has always felt a strong connection with the landscape and the sea, which tends to inform the basis of her paintings. She now lives in North Somerset and her paintings are collected worldwide; she has quickly gained representation by a handful of select UK galleries.
