By Hope was created in the Summer of 2020 when founder, Hope Wyatt, began picking flowers from her garden and whilst on walks and researching the process of preserving them by pressing. Finding comfort in nature inspired Hope to start making flower frames for friends and family to bring the outdoors to their homes.
Hope’s eye for design (having previously worked as a womenswear designer at high-street retailers), quickly grew this inspiration into the creation of By Hope. As a brand, alongside the frames, it also encompasses table linens to dress your table inside or out. Each item is inspired by Hope’s love of the outdoors and the joy of sharing this with others.
All prints are hand painted exclusively for the collection. Flowers and foliage are hand-pressed and assembled in the frames by Hope.
Supporting other amazing creatives, as close to home as possible, is also an important part of the By Hope collection.
Frames are all made by hand in Cornwall, and flowers and foliage are picked from Hope’s garden along with family & friends gardens! A few extras are purchased from New Spitalfields Market and all are preserved using the traditional method of flower pressing.
Table linens are made from gorgeous washed European linen and printed exclusively for the collection in Lithuania in an OEKOTEX certificated factory.
With nature at the heart of the collection, giving back to the environment is an important part of By Hope’s ethos. All packaging has been carefully sourced to be recyclable and/ or biodegradable, and a tree is planted for every batch of mailer boxes we order.
