Collection: Kiera Black

The Silly Filly Store was initially started by Kiera Black, founder of creative studio Bam Bam Madame, as a hobby and an incentive to be creative purely in the name of fun.

She began illustrating cowboys and playful Western scenes one evening at home in West Cork, Ireland, and before long there was a growing interest to purchase the images as prints.

The first collection, ‘Dancing in the Desert’, is now 10 prints strong. Flamboyantly-dressed cowboys and their desert-dwelling friends are depicted in dreamy natural settings, the colours and style akin to those you might find in a children’s book with a grown-up twist. Each one is inspired by a moment from a book, film, song or memory, the title giving an insight into a story it’s up to the viewer to tell in full.
