Sustainability
At Domenica Marland, we believe sustainability is an ongoing journey rather than a finished statement.
We approach sustainability with honesty, care and intention. We do not claim to be a fully sustainable brand, but we do believe in responsible design, longevity, transparency and promoting craft.
Our homeware collections are designed in the UK and produced in Italy, India and Vietnam, working closely with skilled artisans and manufacturers who specialise in traditional techniques. From hand-crafted Murano glass to iron pots, lacquer trays and frames, we focus on materials and processes that result in timeless pieces made to be enjoyed for many years, rather than fleeting trends.
We believe that creating objects with lasting appeal is one of the most meaningful steps towards sustainability. By designing products that are durable, functional and considered, we hope to encourage thoughtful purchasing and long-term use.
Where possible, we make practical choices to reduce our impact. All Domenica Marland orders are packaged using cardboard boxes, trying to avoid unnecessary plastic and prioritising recyclable materials.
Sustainability is an evolving process, and we are committed to learning, improving and making more conscious decisions as our brand develops. We believe in being open about where we are today, while continuing to work towards a more responsible future.
