Paula blends South American warmth with Swedish modern design, creating vibrant works from her Hackney studio and beyond. Inspired by her coastal upbringing in Uruguay, she draws on the colours of wildflowers, seaside landscapes, and lively tablescapes to shape her art.

Her new collection, 100 Sunflowers, captures this spirit with bold, layered brushstrokes and patterns that evoke the tactile richness of textiles. Each painting carries a sense of movement and texture, inviting the viewer to feel as much as see the work.

Passionate about traditional techniques, Paula also carves her own lino blocks to create textured backgrounds and intricate decorative details, giving her paintings depth and a distinctive, hand-crafted quality.
