Jasmyn Fraser is an artist based in East Sussex. She creates painted gardens, keeping flowers in bloom all year round. From her studio in Sussex, she makes images of flowers and foliage found in the natural environment.

Intricately painted from foraged flowers, her paintings celebrate the vibrant colours and delicate textures found in her surroundings. Harking back to Dutch Masters, each piece is a curation of flora and foliage made with rich oils and a plethora of pigments.

Ranunculus, with their intricate, rose-like layers, were once prized in Persian gardens, hence their common name ‘Persian buttercups’. Pink varieties are thought to symbolise charm and poetic romance.
